Anonymous said...: I happened upon your blog while looking for ways to bring publicity to another victim's fight. This victim is five year-old Madison, who was sexually abused by her grandfather and by her aunt in her grandparents' home. She lives in TX, but the grandparents live in NM. A Lea Co., NM judge just awarded unsupervised visitation to the grandfather, despite the fact that he sexually abused Madison. The Lea Co. Sheriff's office and DA are refusing to prosecute due to "lack of evidence," even though Madison's therapist has testified in court that she is 100% certain Madison's grandfather molested her and Gov. Bill Richardson of NM (and Presidential candidate) won't step in to help because the matter is "too complex," according to his personal assistant, Elizabeth Osorio.

This is a family in crisis, if ever I've seen one. Madison's stepmother is a friend of mine, so I'm trying to help get the word out. Hopefully, if enough people get involved and speak out, we can prevent additional incidences of abuse and minimize the damage done to this child.

Anything you can do, as a survivor yourself, to help us spread the word would be greatly appreciated.
